Seminole County has a grant called the Community Services Block Grant AARA (CSBG-R) Training Program. It will provide financial assistance to eligible individuals for training program tuition, books, and training supplies. This assistance is provided to help individuals get training to
- Attain Employment
- Maintain Employment
- Or Increase Employment Income/Benefits
Here are the guidelines:
- Reside in Seminole County
- At or below 200% of the poverty level (see chart below); and

- Accepted into an approved training program
The maximum of $5000 is available per application for fiscal year ending September 30, 2010. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis, pending funding availability!
