Google Desktop Search
Google Desktop can actually index your entire computer for files. This means you can find anything ever saved on your computer as long as you remember a part of the file name.

Once you download it, you let it index your computer. Typically this takes a few days (depending on how idle the computer is).
Once it is indexed, you press the shift key twice and type in your search criteria. It will pull up files, email, bookmarks etc that meet that criteria. I personally love it because it saves me time when I’m searching for things.
